State of New Jersey v. DW

Outcome: Multiple Drug Trafficking Crimes Reduced to 1 DP with Non-Custodial Probation (No Incarceration)

Description: Client was charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses, which when combined with his prior record and the fact that he was on Probation at the time he was arrested on these new charges exposed the client to being sentenced to an extended State Prison sentence of 10 years with 5 years of parole ineligibility. We investigated the case, and were able to establish that the cop's ability to view the activities as described by the police in their report was impossible. With this information, we were able to convince the Prosecutor that the case had too many legal defects, with the prosecution agreeing to a concurrent probation, with no incarceration.
